TOP 5 HYPERTENSION HOTPSOTS  - Don't let this get your blood pressure up, but Sperling's named Louisville #3.  We are near the top of that list because of the “rates of hypertension and hypertension prescriptions per capita, as well as the prevalence of several lifestyle factors that may lead to the development of hypertension.”  So put down that donut, salt shaker and grab a bran Muffin instead. TOP 5 MOST CONGESTED CITIES (#4) -  I am not talking about the Sherman Minton bridge being closed.  I’m talking NASAL CONGESTION.  Can you say “Ohio Valley Crud”. (see list here) [5]

 

TOP 5 SADDEST CITIES - While Men’s Health named us a “Lucky” city, they didn’t say that would improve our mood.  Louisville was named as one of the “TOP 5 SADDEST CITIES”.  They had a formula for how they determined that but I was too bummed to read it.  See the list here! [6]

TOP 10 MANLIEST CITIES IN AMERICA  - No we didn't make the top ten, we were #13. What made us so unmanly, well “factors included the number of home furnishing and décor stores, cafés/coffee shops, sushi restaurants, “modern” male apparel stores and cupcake shops. ”
