A small but festive crowd gathered at The Frazier Historical Arms Museum last night to benefit both the museum and the American Lung Association. Fashion was the focus, but the crowd gained some knowledge on ancient times as an added bonus.
A combination of old and new fashion, courtesy of AlterEgo, were modeled by regular customers of the boutique. Even the "cat-walk" had a medieval flair-it was held in the jousting arena. Unique layers of jackets, pants, and tunics echoed a much more chic version of medieval dress.
Textures, deep fall colors, and drapey fabrics were the highlight of the show. Unique styles, including some created by the boutique's in-house seamstress all feature unconventional tailoring and details. Visit the boutique's website to see a collection of their fashions. They can create individual specifications for your own custom outfit...shape, style, and even fabrics. Stop by their Wesport Village location at 1321 Herr Lane, Louisville, KY 40222.
