Today is the day, Louisville’s favorite neighborhood bar, Brownie’s The Shed Grille & Bar, fords the river and opens its first Indiana, and third overall location.
The family owned establishment is known for their great food (with a decidedly German-esque twist) and their great prices on food and drinks. The bar, nicknamed “Your closest home to home,” joins two previous locations on the Kentucky side of the river – with the original being in Hurstbourne on Wittington Parkway and a second spot that was opened last year in The Highlands.
Originally opened in the fall of 2005, Brownie’s served as a neighborhood watering hole for owner Keith Brown and all of his friends. Over the next decade the bar has managed to consistently maintain a top-notch staff and a long line of loyal regulars.
Brownie’s The Shed in New Albany opens today at 826 W. Main Street. They will be officially opening their doors at 11:00 AM and will be open well into the morning.
