Summer is the perfect time of year for a vacation. The weather is beautiful, the kids are out of school and let’s face it, some mornings it just feels too hot to get up and go to work. Traveling within the United States is always a good time, but according to the travel experts at AAA [4]and USA Today [5], this summer is all about European travel. For the first time in several years, the dollar is nearly equal to the value of the Euro, making a trip to Europe almost as affordable as a trip to the Grand Canyon.
But for you folks who can’t make a trip across the globe this year, you can still take your taste buds on a wild vacation of their own and experience the deliciously loud flavors of Southern France at Brasserie Provence [6]!
Chef Edoardo Bacci of Brasserie Provence has created a new summer menu that will have you coming back again and again all season. The new menu features ten delectable new dishes.
The appetizers sure are appetizing with choices of steamed littleneck clams in saffron broth and shrimp with radish cucumber slaw, and the main course options are simply heavenly with options including the new seafood pasta dressed with bay scallops, mussels and tomato basil sauce and the traditional hamburger topped with brie and Prosciutto served on a brioche bun. Whichever meal you choose, you can finish it off with a big slice of Brasserie Provence’s June dessert special, Banana Foster cake!
Brasserie Provence is located at 150 North Hurstbourne Parkway and is open Monday - Saturday for lunch from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and for dinner from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. For more information on the full menu, visit their website here [6]! To make a reservation, please call 502-883-3153.
