Why wait until the big ol’ festival starts to really begin Forecastle? Organizers seem to have asked themselves the same question, and have answered by starting the festivities one day early at Against The Grain Brewery, conveniently located at Louisville Slugger Field just a stone’s throw away from Waterfront Park, the site of Forecastle.
On Thursday, July 16 there will be music from Forecastle artists Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds, as well as local group Discount Guns and local DJs Aaron Chadwell and Sam Sneed of Night Visions Radio.
All general admission and VIP weekend ticket holders as well as Friday VIP tickets holders can pick up their Forecastle wristbands in advance. Early check-in starts at 5 p.m., and the music starts crankin’ at 7 p.m.
