The next in a series highlighting Louisville's neighborhoods: Middletown. Middletown is a busy little area of Louisville on the east end side. It has its small town, historic charm to it with its own old Main Street that runs through historic Middletown, but also plays host to many restaurants, shops, retail, and traffic lights. Having lived on the outskirts of Middletown when I first moved to Louisville, I remember the way it used to be. And it has adjusted in size and in many other ways a lot over the years, growing by leaps and bounds as it has changed shape. See the City of Middletown website [4] for events, calendar listings, historical sites, visitor info, and more. Here are a few spots to check out that I recommend and gathered from other friends.
