The Louisville Chorus is one the premier regional choruses in the area, and are a staple of the artistic and musical landscape of our city. Pillars of culture and pride of a community has kept them going strong, consider the Louisville Chorus is currently performing in their 76th Season as a local collective. Currently they are led by the vision of musical director Daniel Spurlock, who has been a key figure in the local classical music scene for decades now.
This Sunday they will be performing “Schubert Mas in Eb” and Vaughn Williams’ “Serenade to Music.” The show will also feature accompaniment of Louisville Philharmonia – The Musician’s Orchestra. Soloists will include Mary Redden – soprano, Maggie Schwenker – alto, Randall Black – tenor, and Alexander Redden – bass.
The performance will be today, April 19th at 4:00 PM, at St. Boniface Catholic Church (531 E. Liberty). Tickets are $20, $15 (for seniors), and $5 (for students).
