An isolated young sister and brother rely on each other as others enter their lives in Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them, presented by Pandora Productions this weekend.
Edith and her brother Kenny are young, isolated and all alone in a rural farmhouse with a car that is low on gas, a bank account that is nearly gone, and family members that are nowhere to be found. As they live away from the outside world, Kenny's classmate Benji drops by for a visit, among other things. The three bond, but things change when adults make their way into the farmhouse and Edith ends up shooting something she shouldn't have. This witty production sheds light on what it's like to grow up isolated from the norm of society.
Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them will take place March 5-7 and 12-14 at 7:30 p.m. each night. A matinee will also go on March 14 at 2 p.m. with additional shows on March 8 and 15 at 5:30 p.m.. All performances will occur at the Henry Clay Theatre, located in the Henry Clay Building at 604 S. Third Street [4] in Old Louisville.
