Ten years ago, the Louisville Independent Business Alliance (LIBA) first put up a billboard for the Keep Louisville Weird campaign, and it’s still a thing around town. While we may not be the first city to proclaim our weirdness, we do seem to embrace the idea that we tend to be a little … different.
To celebrate the 10 years of being openly weird, LIBA is holding a Birthday Bash tonight at Headliners [4]. Hay DJ will start off the evening, followed by live music from Tony and the Tan Lines.
LIBA local business members will add to the weirdness:
Weird birthday cake contest with local bakeries
Fresh ice cream from Louisville Cream [5]
Party games: Pin the Mustache on the Mayor and Never Have I Ever
Temp Tats from Tattoo Charlie’s
Food trucks: V-Grits and Black Rock Grill
Kyle Meredith and Sean Cannon will emcee the evening, which goes from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., tonight, February 27, at Headliners. Tickets are $10 in advance, or $12 on site.
