That’s right folks, Harry Connick, Jr. is bringing his sweet sweet voice and twangy Louisiana charm to Louisville.
Forget about Michael Bublé. Harry Connick, Jr. has been infusing jazz with pop and refashioning hit songs since he was a youngster. Straight talking, good-looking and sharply dressed, Connick has released twenty-nine albums and is a three-time Grammy award-winning musician. The multi-talented artist has also found success as an actor on screen as well as the Broadway stage. Most recently he’s breathed new life into the popular singing show “American Idol.”
Known for his smooth vocals, swing like style and romantic lyrics, he has covered hit songs such as “The Way You Look Tonight” and “It Had to Be You.” Having returned to song writing in his newest record Every Man Should Know, Connick’s show is likely to include songs from his vast arsenal of tracks as well as music from his latest albums.
Harry Connick, Jr. will perform at the Louisville Palace from 8-10pm Saturday, February 28th. [4] Tickets can be purchased online [5] and range anywhere from $52-$117.
