How Louisville Natives & UofL Products Did in the NFL’s Week 12 [2]

Teddy Bridgewater threw for more yards than Aaron Rodgers, Gary Barnidge had a big catch and Elvis Dumervil tallied two more sacks, here’s a complete look at how Louisville natives and University of Louisville products did in Week 12 of the NFL season:

Louisville natives

Corey Peters (Atlanta): The fifth-year defensive tackle, a Central High School graduate and former University of Kentucky standout, tallied three tackles in the Falcons’ 26-24 last-second loss to visiting Cleveland on Sunday. Atlanta (4-7) hosts Arizona at 4:05 p.m. this Sunday.

C.J. Spillman (Dallas): The sixth-year defensive back and special teams standout, a Central grad and former Marshall University standout, tallied one tackle in the Cowboys’ comeback 31-28 win over the New York Giants on Sunday night. Dallas (8-3) hosts Philadelphia at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in a key NFC East showdown on Thanksgiving Day.

Former UofL players

Barnidge (Cleveland): The tight end, who is in his seventh season, had two catches for 23 yards - including a 15-yard reception on the game-winning drive - in the Browns’ 26-24 win at Atlanta. Cleveland (7-4) plays at Buffalo at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Bridgewater (Minnesota): The rookie quarterback completed 21 of 37 passes for 210 yards - 1 more than his counterpart, Rodgers - and two touchdowns with one interception in the Vikings’ 24-21 loss to Green Bay on Sunday. Minnesota (4-7) next hosts Carolina at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Preston Brown (Buffalo): The rookie inside linebacker tallied five tackles in the Bills’ 38-3 bombing of the New York Jets on Monday night in Detroit. Buffalo (6-5) hosts Cleveland at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Harry Douglas (Atlanta): The wide receiver, who is in his sixth season, had two catches for 14 yards in the Falcons’ 26-24 loss to Cleveland. Atlanta (4-7) hosts Arizona at 4:05 p.m. next Sunday.

Dumervil (Baltimore): The outside linebacker, who is in his ninth season, tallied three tackles - including two sacks - in the Ravens’ 34-27 win at New Orleans on Monday night. Dumervil, who ranks second in the league with 12.5 sacks, and Baltimore (7-4) next hosts San Diego at 1 p.m. Sunday.

William Gay (Pittsburgh): The cornerback, who is in his eighth season, and the Steelers were on their bye week last week. Pittsburgh (7-4) next hosts New Orleans at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Breno Giacomini (New York Jets): The seventh-year starting offensive tackle and the Jets were embarrassed 38-3 Monday night by Buffalo in Detroit. New York (2-9) next hosts Miami at 8:30 p.m. Monday night.

Senorise Perry (Chicago): The rookie running back didn’t register a carry or return a kick, but did record one tackle in the Bears’ 21-13 win over visiting Tampa Bay on Sunday. Chicago (5-6) plays at Detroit at 12:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon in the Lions’ traditional Thanksgiving Day game.

Bilal Powell (New York Jets): The fourth-year running back was inactive for the Jets in their 38-3 loss to Buffalo on Monday night in Detroit. New York (2-9) next hosts Miami at 8:30 p.m. Monday night.

Calvin Pryor (New York Jets): The rookie free safety tallied two tackles for the Jets in their 38-3 loss to Buffalo on Monday night. New York (2-9) next hosts Miami at 8:30 p.m. Monday night.

Marcus Smith (Philadelphia): The rookie linebacker was active, but didn’t register a tackle in the Eagles’ 43-24 win over Tennessee on Sunday. Philadelphia (8-3) next plays at Dallas at 4:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

Byron Stingily (Tennessee): The fourth-year offensive tackle played, but didn’t start, in the Titans’ 43-24 loss at Philadelphia on Sunday. Tennessee (2-9) next play at Houston at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Eric Wood (Buffalo): The sixth-year center, made his 74rd consecutive start, in the Bills’ 38-3 domination of the New York Jets on Monday night in Detroit. Buffalo (6-5) next hosts Cleveland at 1 p.m. Sunday.
