Get pin happy! Here are my top 5 picks for Pinterest [16] Thanksgiving crafts that are simple, easy, and won’t break the bank.
1. Toilet Paper Roll Turkey from familyholiday.net [17]
2. Paper Plate Turkey from whattoexpect.com [18]
3. Hand Print Leaves from houseofburke.blogspot.com [19]
4. Tissue Paper Wreath from happyhooligans.ca [20]

Spend this weekend preparing a shoe box for Operation Christmas Child [22]. My kids and I are doing this for the first time, and even little ones can get involved in stuffing the box with little Dollar Store crafts, toys, and trinkets. What a lesson to be learned for the whole family about thanks and giving! The last day to drop off a shoe box is November 24. Here is a list of drop-off locations [23] throughout Louisville and the surrounding area.
The weekend after Thanksgiving, the Museum of the American Printing House for the Blind is having a Family Day Open House [24]. It’s on Saturday, November 29 from 10am-3pm. If you have family visiting from out of town for Thanksgiving, bring them here to show them this unique place in Louisville. Click here [25] for more fun ideas for your family.
