A man from the early 1990s wakes up 20 years later in a world full of e-mails, Internet, and smartphones in Just Like Life, which The Bard's Town will present beginning Thursday.
Just Like Life will take place Nov. 6-10, 13, 14, and 16 at 7::30 p.m. each night. All performances will happen at The Bard's Town, located at 1801 Bardstown Road [4] in the Highlands.
Tickets for each show are $15 general admission, $12 for students, and $12 for seniors. Due to limited seating, reservations are highly recommended and can be made at The Bard's Town [5] website.
In the Doug Schutte-created Just Like Life, a man tries to understand a world he suddenly is living in after waking up. He fell asleep in 1992 as a new father in his 20s. Now, his child is going to college and attempting to acheive fame and love via reality show. Also, the world is now dominated by e-mail, Internet, smartphones, and other electronic devices. Everyone's connected in some way but may be completely disconnected in others.
Following Just Like Life, The Bard's Town Theatre will present its annual Christmas classic, The Kings of Christmas. That production will take place in December.
