The 2nd annual Louisville Music Awards are just over 2 weeks away. On Sunday, September 28, the best of Louisville's music will gather for good times and a recognition of who has had the best year in their genres.
The awards show would not be complete though without performances. This year's show will have some of Louisville's best on stage.
The list of performers includes rapper JaLin Roze, cover band Billy Goat Strut Revue, and Wayne Young & The Midwest Creole Ensemble who will be performing a tribute to local legend Steve Ferguson. Ferguson is receiving the awards sole Legacy Award this year.
Both Roze and Billy Goat Strut Revue won the awards in their respective categories last year and are nominated again this year.
Other awards awards to be given out at the Louisville Music Awards include Song of the Year, Singer/Songwriter of the Year, Americana Award, and Live DJ of the Year. Voting is now closed for the event.
Roze recently announced on WAVE3's The Setlist that he will releasing a new EP called "FIGURE$" around Halloween which you can watch here [4].
