Louisville Outskirts Festival, a multi-venue music festival taking place October 10-12, has announced their full lineup as well as the rockshops for young girls ages 10-18.

Many artists hail from Louisville but others will come to the festival from as far as Tacoma, Washington, New York City, or Los Angeles.

The full lineup is as follows:

Abiyah, Absolutely Not, Antietam, Bridge 19, The Cell Phones, Cher Von, Drinking Woman, The Fervor, Juanita, Lady Pyramid, Lozen, Mahogany Reign, Maiden Radio, Marnie Stern, Sandpaper Dolls, Shannon Wright, Tara Jane O'Neil, Trophy Wife, Twin Limb, Tweens, Twenty First Century Fox, Blythe of the Ball, DJ Kim Sorise

Performances will take place at The New Vintage and The Cure Lounge.

Another part of the festival, perhaps just as essential as the performances themselves, is the rockshops. The rockshops are for 10-18 year old girls to learn instruments, form bands, write songs, and perform.

Rockshops will take place October 11-12 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. each day at Lincoln Performing Arts School (930 Main Street). There will be 17 female musicians that will serve as instructors, some of which aren't even playing the festival. Some names that will appear include Carly Johnson, Cheyenne Mize, Meg Samples, and Natalie Felker.

Girls who want to participate must register before hand. Registration as well as ticket information for the shows can be found here [4].
