Day 3 of Fandom Fest was more relaxed, as most Sundays at conventions are. I like Sundays because autograph and photo op lines are short and panels are more casual.
I started off my day by getting a photo op with Karl Urban and my buddy, Michelle.
Then I dropped by a few panels. The first one was about The Hobbit book and movies (pictured below); the second was about cosplaying on a budget.
Speaking of cosplay, check out these awesome Doctors!
Sylvester McCoy, famous for his portrayal of the 7th doctor in Doctor Who and Radagast in The Hobbit, began his panel in the afternoon and told some funny stories about Ian McKellan and his time on Doctor Who.
After McCoy's panel, I made my rounds through the vendor hall one last time as fans got autographs from Anthony Mackie and bought cool geek swag.
It's always a little bittersweet when a convention ends. It's sad to see all the fun wind down and the bare convention center, but this weekend was a blast and I'm always glad I go - even if my feet and legs hurt by the end!
