Women 4 Women Annual Luncheon at the Galt House

One of our nation’s top financial experts, Jean Chatzky, will educate and inspire. With more than 1,500 attendees expected, this event is the largest of its kind and has been called the premiere event for women. The Macadelic Tour featuring Mac Miller and more at Broadbent Arena

Pittsburgh native Mac Miller developed a reputation for delivering jaw‐dropping freestyles growing up and signed his first deal with Rostrum Records in July 2010. Selling over a million singles total, Miller’s EP, “On and On and Beyond,” sold more than 60,000 copies digitally. Joining Miller is the group Travis Porter, which has collaborated with artists such as Roscoe Dash, Tyga and Waka Flaka Flame. Rapper YG’s debut album “4 Hunnid Degreez” was released March 2012.

Picnic Under the Trees with Nervous Melvin and the Mistakes at Oxmoor Farm

Join The Filson for its annual Picnic Under the Trees at Oxmoor Farm. This year, it welcomes Nervous Melvin and the Mistakes, one of Louisville’s most successful and longest-lasting bands. Along with their original music, the band draws from a list of more than 700 songs from artists such as The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Rolling Stones and U2.

2012 Downtown Living Tour

The Louisville Downtown Management District is hosting this annual event, which will showcase more than 10 units in downtown Louisville including condos, lofts and apartments. Gaslight Festival at Jeffersontown Gaslight Square

What started as a small street party in 1969 and has grown to become the fifth largest festival in the region and has taken its place as one of the top 20 in the southeast. The Gaslight Festival, hosted by The Chamber, brings an estimated 200,000 visitors to Jeffersontown every year. Centered in the small-town ambience of Gaslight Square, the Festival has evolved into a eight-day extravaganza that has become a time-honored tradition of Jeffersontown. The festival now boasts a motorcycle rally and car show; a golf scramble; a 5K run/walk; a parade; balloon glow; children's playground; live entertainment; and more than 140 arts, crafts and commercial booths.
