The University of Louisville will be showing the sing-along version of Disney's highest-grossing film since The Lion King on Friday, June 20 as part of their Cards Under the Stars summer movie series. This free even begins at 6:30 with children's activities, and the movie starts at dusk.
The children's activities include: inflatables and games, music by local singer/songwriter Leigh Ann Yost [4], appearances by members of the Louisville League of Mascots [5], and a photo area that closes at 8:30. The food truck Sweet 'N' Savory [6] will be there to provide gelato and other refreshments, Red Top Gourmet Hot Dogs [7] food trucks will be supply their first-rate hot dogs. Both cash and credit cards will be accepted.
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and snacks to make their evening more enjoyable. The event will take place on the lawn between the Natural Sciences building and Grawemeyer Hall. Parking is available in the lot next to Grawemeyer Hall (2301 S. Third St.) and behind Ernst Hall (216 Eastern Parkway).
