There isn't anything quite as summery as a barbeque, and tonight
The Brewery
[4]
kicks it up with a full-on pig roast at 6PM. For only $10, you can get in on the festivities - and better yet, it's all-you-can-eat.
The event is being hosted by
Louisville Eats Good [5],
the team behind The Brewery's
recent re-launch
[6]
. The pig itself weighs in at over 250 pounds and will be roasted up by the Louisville Eats Good team and special guest chef Fernando Martinez
(The Place Downstairs, Mussel & Burger Bar, and Guaca Mole). Your $10 will get you pig until it runs out! Not
only will the evening feature the centerpiece pig roast, but will also include a variety of drink specials to whet your palette - sangrias, mojitos, a cash beer garden, draft beers, bourbon clementine and more.
If the food and drink weren’t enough to bring you out, Louisville Eats Good will be collecting donations at the door to benefit the Forecastle Foundation, the activism arm of the Forecastle Festival. The Foundation aims to identify some of the most important and endangered natural spots on the planet and work to save them. As if the food wasn’t reason enough to come down, you can support a good cause as well!
The Brewery is located at 426 Baxter Avenue. Parking is available around back and the deck entrance is on the side off of Lexington Road. The event will start at 6PM and go until closing, or when the food runs out. Hope to see you there!
