Spring is a time change, and it’s afoot at Louisville’s favorite local chocolate shop. Not only are the derby-themed goodies here and looking amazing, but there’s plenty of new offerings and goings-on.

For starters, Cellar Door recently launched an all-new

Etsy shop

[4]

from which you can purchase a lot of their stuff - and which is currently offering a twenty percent discount on orders as a grand opening special. Of course, since it’s Etsy you can follow them to see new items and offers, which will surely please all those chocolate-loving friends and family you have.

They’ve also launched an all-new website which has pretty much been redesigned from the ground up. It looks great, is easy to navigate, and places all of their items into excellent categories. Not only that, but you can now peruse by the kind of item you want. With so much to choose from (especially with the amazing selection of Bourbon Buttercreams) it’s an excellent way to check out the choices and see them all in great high quality photos.

To top it all off, there is an amazing selection of gift boxes which are browsable by price - from $25 all the way to $100. Like the $100 fudge gift box above, they’re sure to be a hit for anyone who loves chocolate. There’s also a Derby-themed gift box which serves ten, and when you break that down you have ten dollars worth of chocolate for everyone - a pretty good deal when you think about it that way.

If online shopping isn’t your thing, Cellar Door is also going to be at the

Douglas Loop Farmer’s Market

[5]

on the weekends, as well as the

Kentucky Proud WineFest

[6]

and

Beerfest

[7]

on April 29th and 30th, respectively. If you’re anything like me, I’m sure you’ll love pairing some good local beer and wine with some good local chocolates.

Founder Erika Chavez-Graziano will also be speaking at the

Louisville Girls IdeaFestival

[8]

and the

How-To Festival

[9]

at the Louisville Free Public Library, so if you’re interested in chocolate and business and getting a bit of the behind-the-scenes of Cellar Door Chocolates, stop by those events and say hi!

With so much in the works, don’t forget all the Derby-themed chocolates that are out right now, as well as the Easter sweets!
