One man reflects on the true American dream in Death of a Salesman, which opens Friday at Clarksville Little Theatre.
Death of a Salesman will go on Mar. 14, 15, 20, 21, and 22 at 8 p.m. each night. A matinee will take place on Mar. 16 at 2 p.m. All performances are to happen at Clarksville Little Theatre, located at 301 E Montgomery Ave [4]. in Clarksville, IN.
Tickets for each show are $17 for adults, $14 for seniors 60 and over, $14 for teens, and $10 for children six to 12. All tickets can be purchased at the door or reserved at the Clarksville Little Theatre [5] website.
Death of a Salesman focuses on a man who, through his sales career, tried to achieve what he believed was the American dream. However, that journey, which he will relive through memories and soul-searching, will lead him to realize maybe the American dream was something more personal and closer to the heart.
Arthur Miller created Death of a Salesman, which earned him a Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Russell Spencer directed the production for Clarksville Little Theatre.
Following Death of a Salesman, Clarksville Little Theatre will present Stop the World...I Want to Get Off. Auditions are this weekend [6], and the show will go on in May.
