The Iconic, classic and ideal Wes Anderson film set is transformed into a large scale Wes Anderson themed party. The Wes Anderson Film Festival at the New Vintage celebrates the films and the film scores of academy award nominee Wes Anderson.
Performing live from seven of Wes Anderson’s film soundtracks are The Fervor, The Quiet Hollers, Hinkley Cold Storage (featuring The Pass), Jolly Hummarabi (featuring members of The Dirty Grindstones), Hay DJ, Dane Waters and Bily Petot (of Whistle Peak).
The Wes Anderson Film Festival is presented by the Fair Event Vendors Alliance, which connects LGBT community with Louisville wedding and event professionals, who welcome them as clients and believe in their equality and fair treatment. The festival supports the newly formed alliance by donating proceeds to the design and launch of the FEVA web guide.
The festival features a costume contest, live dioramas and music by Sarah Teeple of the University of Louisville Ladybirds. With signature cocktails to be featured also, the event is 21 and over. Tickets can be found on ticketfly [4].
