Villains! at the Green Building Gallery
For the exhibition “Villains!” Chris Reeves and Matt Wiseman present a series of visual situations representative of ideas that can imply villainy – progress, inertia, no fun – and the objects themselves are meant to act as perpetrators of resistentialism. The works presented together are an exploration of what villainy means to the individual: sometimes heavy, sometimes trivial, but always present waiting to make our days more difficult.

Dr. Seuss' Birthday Party at Carmichael’s Bookstore
Sunday, March 2nd we will be celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday and Read Across America Day. It wouldn’t be a party without cake, crafts, games and a sing-along. Please join us to celebrate Dr. Seuss, one of our favorite children’s books authors. This event is best for kids ages 3-7. The National Education Association is building a nation of readers through its signature program, NEA’s Read Across America. Now in its 16th year, this year-round program focuses on motivating children and teens to read through events, partnerships, and reading resources. "You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read with a child."
