As of right now, I am currently a SAHM, which means for my family that I don’t have to find after school care for my elementary school-age daughter. There was a time when both my husband and I worked fulltime, and our daughter had to have quality care with adults whom we could trust. How do you go about finding that care? For us, our JCPS school offered an after school care option that was highly rated and recommended and so we chose that option. At that time, it was the YMCA of Louisville’s Childcare Enrichment Program. The following is a list I have researched of the many offerings around the Louisville area for you to check out for yourself if you are in need of care for your children. Hopefully you can use this list to help you contact places, make appointments to visit them and observe their programs, and make an informed decision based on your family’s personalities and needs.
