The Cards dominated the Hartford Hawks tonight at home in the Yum! Center. This continues Louisville's winning streak to 19 games in a row (carrying over from last season), the longest winning streak in school history.
Montrezl Harrell has really stepped up his game since he came into the Louisville program last year. In the 2012-2013 season, Harrell averaged 5.7 points and 16.2 minutes per game. This season, Harrell is averaging 12 points and 28 minutes (and was the leading scorer tonight with 20 points). If he keeps this up, we may not have Trez next year. Harrell also led the team in rebounds with four offensive and 5 defensive rebounds.
The Cards' will play two games this weekend, the second being against University of North Carolina. It will certainly be one of the toughest matchups of the season.
The Cards will return to the Yum! Center next Friday night when they take on Southern Mississippi.
