They’re back.
Riding the wave of success that followed their inaugural production of Love, Loss and What I Wore [4], Eve Theatre, one of Louisville’s newest theatre companies, is at it again.
Motherhood Out Loud, Eve’s [5]latest production, coincides well with its mission of exploring “the human experience from a female perspective.”
In a compilation of 20 scenes, “Motherhood Out Loud shatters traditional notions about parenthood, unveils its inherent comedy and celebrates the deeply personal truths that span and unite generations.”
The play is written by a collection of established authors, including playwrights Beth Henley (Crimes of the Heart) and Lisa Loomer (The Waiting Room), Marco Pennette, creator of Caroline in the City, New York Times bestselling author Luanne Rice, and creator of NBC’s hit show Smash, Therese Rebeck.
Motherhood Out Loud opens Thursday, June 6 and continues through June 23 in the Victor Jory Theatre at Actors Theatre. Tickets are $22/$19 for students, seniors and groups. They may be purchased at the door or by calling 502-584-1205.
Actors Theatre is located at 316 W. Main Street in Louisville.
