Filles Louisville [4] will welcome New York jeweler and designer Alicia P. [5] into the SOFO boutique for a trunk show featuring Alicia's latest and greatest. The jeweler has had her handmade one-of-a-kind pieces turn up in various venues, from films such as Tyler Perry's "Good Deeds" to publications such as the venerable New York Times, as well as numerous boutiques through
out her native New York and the United States.
Aside from jewelry, Alicia P. also creates paintings and wall hangings influenced by the textures and shapes of her jewelry pieces, incorporating materials such as suede leather to oil and canvas. Regarding said pieces, semi-precious stones fuse with metal, beads and braided nylon to create an original sculpture of wearable art for the individual client to experience upon placement on the body.
