At 2:52 pm today, I got a Facebook alert notifying me that Meat, the popular prohibition style watering hole upstairs from The Blind Pig in Butchertown is closed indefinitely. The post also states to stay tuned for reopening details so hopefully, this is a temporary situation. Meat's last post on Twitter was on 2:06 pm April 2nd, where they confirmed they would be closed temporarily.
Currently Meat's [4] website has no announcement, nor does their voicemail share any changes. Stay tuned for details!
9:33 pm, Exciting update from MEAT:
“Meat would like to apologize in advance to our loyal patrons as we and our downstairs neighbors make some behind-the-scenes changes over the coming weeks. These activities have required us to close temporarily, but it is our goal to re-open as soon as possible with new energy to serve our guests, whom we consider part of our extended family.
