Bit to Do [1]
By Colette Henderson [3]

This week, acclaimed Chef John Varanese will be serving up an exciting four-course meal with a selection of beer from New Albanian Brewing Company at Varanese Restaurant, 2106 Frankfort Ave. NABC Owner Roger Baylor will also be on site to discuss each specialty beer.

Here’s the really good news! Due to its immense popularity, Varanese is adding a second night of beer bliss. Of course, with a power team like this pair, the demand comes as no surprise. You may now book a reservation for February 6th or the 7th at 6:30 pm. The cost of the dinner is $49 per person, plus tax and gratuity. To jump on getting a reservation, call (502)-899-9904 or email letsdine@varanese.com [4].

If your mouth isn’t watering already, check out this sneak peak of the first and third courses, straight from the chef himself.

We are very excited about the third course, the Beer Braised Short Ribs with the Porter Sauce paired with the very popular Hoptimus Imperial India Pale Ale. Many components of this dish are the same ingredients used to make beer. Also our first course with Chipotle BBQ Quail Legs and Beer Battered Onion Rings because of all the spicy notes we were getting out of the Black and Blue Grass Spiced Belgian Ale.  –John Varanese

If you can't make this opportunity, make sure you stop in Varanese soon. Chef Varanese was recently honored in Best Chefs America and was named restaurateur of the year by the Kentucky Restaurant Association.
