LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Louisville.com, Louisville's oldest city-information website, has hired Dan Cimba to be its Director of Business Development. Cimba, previously Vice President of HelloMetro.com, joined Louisville.com effective January 7, 2013.
“Louisville.com is both a household name and is the city’s oldest website that gives people information on anything and everything to do with Louisville,” Cimba said. “Louisville.com offers the unique ability to reach in-market consumers, newcomers and potential visitors, and I am very excited by the opportunity to position the site for further growth in number of visitors and revenue.”
Cimba has served since 2006 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing with HelloMetro.com, a national network of local city guides. He was responsible for developing strategy for and implementing HelloMetro's sales, operations and digital marketing efforts.
"We are fortunate to have found someone who understands both the digital evolution of media and the local marketing and advertising landscape," said Dan Crutcher, principal owner of Louisville.com LLC and owner/publisher of Louisville Magazine. "Local is the new online frontier and Louisville.com, under Dan Cimba's leadership, is perfectly positioned to serve Louisville businesses' marketing and promotional objectives."
