"It's the Holiday Season" and while you're hustling and bustling around the city, trying to finish up some very last minute shopping, take a minute to stop by the Galt House for a break.
I had never heard of Sky Bar at the Galt House before, until after I went to see a Christmas Carol at Actors Theatre with my family. We were looking for a fun, casual place to kick back and have a few drinks and enjoy the downtown atmosphere. I would have never even thought of going to the Galt House. Even though it is a center piece of Louisville and I pass it almost daily, I never knew the pedway was actually a bar. The large glass windows are a fabulous way to look out onto the Ohio River and enjoy the downtown scenery.
So if you're in the downtown area stop by Sky Bar and enjoy a drink and some appetizers at the fabulous Galt House. While you're there you could also walk through the great KaLightoscope attractions!
