A few weeks ago, I wrote about an herb workshop at Riverside, the Farnsley-Moremen Landing. It was wonderful – relaxing yet hands-on, educational, and a perfectly enjoyable way to spend a Sunday. This weekend, there is going to be another one on making herbal cosmetics, so bring the girls (or boys!) and enjoy a peaceful and fun afternoon at a beautiful location!
Beginning at 2 PM on Sunday (Sept. 9th) in the Visitor’s Center, this workshop will focus on the cosmetic uses of typical garden herb blends to make skin creams, salves, and lip balms. I love the idea of natural beauty products!
This is a “make and take” workshop, so all materials are provided, and you get to take your creations home with you!
The cost is only $5 per person!
