From the creators of the hit cartoon series South Park [4] comes the highly-acclaimed and Tony Award winning (times nine) musical, The Book of Mormon [5].
Want tickets to the show? Hold your horses.
While you can get excited now, don’t get out your calendar just yet. The satirical show, playing to sold-out audiences on Broadway (as in, don’t look for tickets there until mid-next year) isn’t coming to Louisville until the 2013-2014 season.
So why all the hype already?
Because. By becoming a season subscriber to the PNC Broadway in Louisville [6] series for this season, You get dibs on buying tickets first for the 2013-2014 season, which includes tickets to The Book of Mormon.
Does this mean that only season ticket subscribers will be able to see The Book of Mormon? Not necessarily. It just means that current season-ticket holders will have the first opportunities to purchase for the 2013-2014 season. Specific details, dates and times will be published in March.
According to PNC Broadway in Louisville’s Facebook page, current season ticket holders will be able to purchase extra tickets of Mormon when they become available.
2012-2013 season ticket holders will receive tickets to the following productions:
- Beauty and the Beast
- Flashdance
- Million Dollar Quartet
- West Side Story
- Jersey Boys
- Memphis
2012-2013 season ticket prices start at $115 for one ticket to each of the six productions, and are available online [7] or by calling 800-294-1849.
