In the musical The Fantasticks, two fathers look to make life a little more chaotic for Louisa and Matt, who have fallen in love with each other. They do this by making a mock abduction. The whole point is to help their children discover a deeper meaning of love.
Jim Hesselman directed the production, which Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt created.
Following The Fantasticks, IUS will present Waiting for Godot. The Samuel Beckett-created production will go on in April.
