Take a ride on the Oregon Trail with Looking for Lilith in Beyond the Blue Mountains, which will open tomorrow night.
Beyond the Blue Mountains will take place on Feb. 23, 24, 25, March 1, 2, and 3 at 7:30 p.m. each night. A matinee show will go on March 3 at 2 p.m. All performances are to happen in Old Louisville at the Rudyard Kipling, located at 422 West Oak Street [4].
Tickets for each show are $15 for adults, $10 for students, and $10 for senior citizens. Reservations are strongly recommended and can be made by calling 502-638-2559. Beyond the Blue Mountains is based on Jane Wilson Joyce's book, which uses poetry to detail the Clay family's Oregon Trail experiences. This includes their hopes, fears, struggles, and impatience of the various family and wagon train members.
Kathi E.B. Ellis directed the production, which includes the cast of Stephanie Adams, Shannon Woolley Allison, Nicolette Roese, Noah Bunch, Megan Caudill, Jennifer Thalman Kepler, Dawn Schulz, and Carolyn Wilson.
