A baker, New York mother, and TV producer come together in The New Century, set to open at U of L this week.
The New Century performances will go on June 16-19 and 22-26 at 7:30 p.m. each night. A matinee show, meanwhile, is set to take place at 2 p.m. on June 19. All performances will go on at U of L's Thrust Theatre, located at the intersection of Floyd and Warnock [4] (same intersection as the McDonalds), in Louisville.
Tickets for the shows are $18 in advance and $20 day of show. Tickets can also be purchased, and more information can be found on the show, at the door or on the Pandora Productions [5]website.
In The New Century, three characters will have their lives intersect at the most opportune or inopportune time, an one-liners are sure to be expected. Helena is the mother of three gay sons and is a member of the POLGBTQCCCO. (See the show to find out what that means.) Charles, meanwhile, produces a gay-themed TV show, and Barbara is preparing a cake in honor of her gay son.
