Bit to Do [1]
By ChrisRachael Oseland [3]

In the spirit of sampling the art and activism as well as awesome music, I’ve ducked into Forecastle’s "Speakeasy Cinema" twice this weekend. I actually wanted to see the Flaming Lips documentary before they go onstage Sunday night.

Alas, both times the tent was empty and nothing was playing onscreen. Once, they had a hand written sign promising the documentary was playing now. Alas, inside it was quiet, dark, and a good place to take a nap. Based on the smell inside, I’d say most people thought it was a designated tent where people could hide from the cops while stuffing their brand new glass pipe with Kentucky’s biggest cash crop.
