, will speak at Bellarmine University this coming Thursday, October 7 at 7:30 p.m. in Knights Hall. The lecture is free and open to the public.

In addition to being a bestselling author, Pollan frequently speaks about food, agriculture, health and the environment—all leading to our plates, where nature and culture intersect. He was named by Time as one of the world’s 100 most influential people in 2010, and in 2009 Newsweek called him one of the top 10 “New Thought Leaders.” 

The event coincides is a part of the inauguration Bellarmine's new Center for Regional Environmental Studies.
