The English import has finished in the money in six of his eight career starts, including both times this year.
Awesome Act (14-1) was third, behind Eskendereya and Jackson Bend, in the Wood Memorial, but won the Gotham Stakes [4] on March 6. Both times jockey Julien Leparoux was aboard, as he will be Saturday when he comes out of the No. 16 post position.
The horse, which is trained by Jeremy Noseda and owned by Vinery Stables, LLC, has $296,691 career earnings and has never run on wet dirt.
