After a very long week, WDRB is now back on cable TV! Time Warner Cable Company had dropped WDRB and its sister channel, WMYO, from the cable line-up. However, negotiations have finally been settled.
Many viewers showed their unhappiness through Facebook posts, comments, telephone calls and e-mails, blaming both sides. Now that WDRB is back on TV, it is obvious that the viewers are more than happy, including Facebook user Jaime Spencer who wrote, “so happy to see my favorite news cast when i woke up this morning!!”
Both channels, WDRB and WMYO, as well as the two side channels 41.1 and 58.2 were back Wednesday evening. WDRB President and General Manager, Bill Lamb “couldn’t be happier to have this process completed,” and appreciates the channel’s viewers’ concerns as, “they've provided the clearest evidence possible that people care…for our stations.” He also thanked Greg Fischer, Lieutenant Governor Jerry Abramson and Metro Councilman Jim King for their efforts in the process.
Welcome back WDRB, we missed you!
