The Voice-Tribune's New Year's Eve Soirée Louisville Marriott 280 W. Jefferson St. 9 p.m. Accent aigu denotes class. So even though theVoice-Tribune is promoting its event [5] as "everyone's favorite time of year to let loose," you'll still probably want to wear pants. At least until midnight and the balls drop. Main St. 5:30 p.m. From 5:30 to 7 p.m., Proof is offering its à la carte menu. The braised local goat sounds delicious--assuming it's not Jim Bunning. And if you don't want to eat, but just kick it old school, head to the 21c Atrium Lounge ($31).
