What is that beating sound? And is there a raven flying in here? Find out in Walden Theatre's production of A Night of Poe, which opens Wednesday.
A Night of Poe performances will be on Nov. 2, 3, and 4 at 7:30 p.m. each night. All shows will take place at the Kentucky Country Day School performing arts center, located at 4100 Springdale Road [4] in Louisville.
Tickets for all shows are $8 per person and are general admission only. Tickets can be purchased at the school's box office, or reserved by phone at 502-589-0084. More information on the show can be found at the Walden Theatre [5] website.
Edgar Allen Poe [6] brought forth some of the best-remembered stories of horror and suspense, several of which will be performed on stage. Among Poe's famous works are The Tell-Tale Heart and The Raven. Hallie Dizdarevic directed this production.
Following A Night of Poe, Walden Theatre will present Phantom Band, part of the company's Slant Culture Series. The production will open on Nov. 10.
