Beginning at 10 a.m. and going through 4 p.m., children's activities will be offered in South Wing B.
Three different Writers' Workshop sessions will be offered throughout the day in South Wing Room 104.
From 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Kathleen Driskell will present the workshop, "Story-telling and Poetry." Driskell's latest poem collection, Seed Across Snow, published by Red Hen in 2009, was listed as a national bestseller by the Poetry Foundation.
From 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Mary Ann Taylor-Hall will present the workshop, "Something Has to Happen." Taylor-Hall has written several novels and has had her short fiction published in several literary quarterlies and anthologized in Best American Short Stories.
From 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., Leatha Kendrick will present the workshop, "Life Writing." Kendrick is the author of three volumes of poetry and her poems and essays appear in a wide variety of journals and anthologies.

In addition to the workshops, there will be a free Publishing Panel held from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the South Wing Room 104. Carnegie Center and marketing and communications director Jessica Mohler will moderate a panel discussion with Ashley Runyon of University Press of Kentucky, Sarah Gorham of Sarabande Books, and Gray Zeitz of Larkspur Press.
There will also be a free Literary Reading titled "Kentucky's Finest," to be held from 4 to 5 p.m. in the South Wing Room 104. Carnegie Center executive director Jan Isenhour will moderate as current and past poets laureate read their work.
