I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Mother's Day and Valentine's Day are the two worst possible days to take a woman you love out to eat. The waits are long, the kitchens are rushed, and people are grumpy about being crowded in tight. Personally, I recommend you make your mother brunch at home then take her out to a nice restaurant on a Tuesday when the restaurant staff are relaxed and there are no lines for tables.
