Support young breast cancer survivors in Louisville at an evening of music, food and fun on Feb. 26 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Frazier International History Museum [4] (829 W. Main St.). Tickets are $10 per person.
Proceeds from ticket sales and the silent auction will benefit the Norton Cancer Institute Breast Health Program, which provides programs for young cancer survivors.
To get a perspective on this event from a woman who's had cancer and is all pinked out but still finds this event inspiring and worthwhile, check out my Loueyvilles' post about it [5]. Last year she cleaned up on goods at the auction for about $100.
Auction items include restaurant gift certificates, artwork and original paintings by local artists, jewelry, a Frazier International History Museum gift pack and spa and salon gift certificates.
If you are unable to attend and would like to make a donation to the Norton Breast Health Program anyway, please visit NortonHealthcareFoundation.com [6].
