My wife received this flyer from Norton Suburban Hospital's Women Pavilion five weeks after our daughter was born and one week before her maternity leave is up. Seems Norton Suburban assumes
- new moms don't need to go back to work
- fathers are not involved in parenting
- one month after his or her birth, the state hasn't taken away your child yet

The director of women's services at Norton Suburban Hospital said that it recently started including information about New Mommy 101 in packets given to women as they leave the hospital.
And despite the name, new dads are welcome to attend New Mommy 101.
