Benefits include the use of studio space and tools, a $5,000 stipend for materials, free admission to adult workshops, and the opportunity to network with professional artists. “The Artist-in-Residency program has given me the opportunity to create a new body of work at an intensity level only found in a museum setting,” says Marie-Elena Ottman, current Artist in Residence at KMAC. “It offered me the opportunity to teach a workshop, meet and network with fellow artists and buyers, and most importantly to me, it gave me the confidence I needed to keep up with my art.”
