The Chamber Jeffersontown is pleased to welcome Keynote Speaker Chef S. Dean Corbett, renowned Louisville Proprietor/Chef to the Have a Heart Luncheon on November 18, 2008.

Throughout his distinguished and busy career, Chef Corbett has understood the importance of giving back to the community.  This holiday season, join Chef Corbett as he whips up support for The Chamber Jeffersontown's "Have a Heart" program.

This annual project benefits families in need this holiday season. Chamber Members, Business Owners, and government officials are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items along with cash/check donations for Jeffersontown Area Ministries (JAM).  Last year, with the help of members like Glen Ridge Health Campus (donated over $1,000) and Indiana Wesleyan University (collected loads of clothing, toys, and food), the Chamber was able to sponsor 5 families and help dozens of others.  The Luncheon is sponsored by Forcht Bank.

Chef Corbett's extensive culinary background includes restaurant, hotel and private club experiences.  His local restaurants have won many distinguished awards and have transformed Louisville into a city of World Class restaurants.  In 2008, Corbett's was named as one of Esquire's "Best New Restaurants."  Corbett's was the only Louisville restaurant and one of only 20 distinguished dining venues in the nation to make the 2008 list.  Full biography available, contact Shelley Heavrin at The Chamber Jeffersontown 267-1674.
