The Honorable Jerry E. Abramson, Mayor, and Sister Cities of Louisville will host the third annual Sister Cities of Louisville fundraising event, A Tasteful Affair, at the Jefferson Club the evening of Monday, September 24th from 5:00 to 8:00pm. The Jefferson Club is located in the heart of Downtown Louisville on the 29th Floor of the PNC Plaza at 500 W Jefferson Street.


Guests are invited to enjoy the rich tradition of international culture and heritage of Louisville's sister cities first hand with samplings of traditional foods and beverages provided by the support of the following members of the local restaurant community:


Mayan Cafe, Limestone, The Oakroom, Sevich, Proof on Main, Uptown Cafe, Palermo Viejo, Slow Food Bluegrass, ValuMarket, August Moon/Asiatique, Yaching's, Erika's, Gumby's, Gavi's, Jefferson Club, and Queen of Sheba.


Beverages will be provided by Maker's Mark and Republic Beverage of Kentucky, and guests will have the opportunity to participate in a silent auction.


The event is made possible through the help of the following sponsors and supporters: Brown Forman Corporation; The Frazier International History Museum; Frost Brown Todd LLC; Forrest and Mary Julia Kuhn; Todd Mercer; Whip Mix; Jefferson Community and Technical College and WUOL 90.5 FM. All ticket sales and proceeds from A Tasteful Affair will support international exchanges in the areas of education, economic development, arts and culture, tourism and community initiatives.
