YO LA TENGO
91.9 WFPK and louisville.com [4] are proud to present as a WFPK fundraiser Yo La Tengo at the Bomhard Theatre on Thursday, January 25 at 7:30pm.
Tickets for Yo La Tengo go on sale Saturday, December 16 at 10am at the Kentucky Center Box Office, www.kentuckycenter.org [5] or by phone at (502) 584-7777. Tickets are $20, reserved. This is an All Ages concert. Cash bar available. Special guest to be announced soon. WFPK members watch your e-news for a chance to order your seats in advance.
Yo La Tengo hasn’t been in Louisville in many years and this show is sure to be something special, especially at the Bomhard Theatre. These Hoboken-based indie vets and Louisville favorites are touring in support of their near-perfect Matador release “I Am Not Afraid of You and I will Beat Your Ass”.
Louisville.com will be at the venue entering concert goers to win the entire Yo La Tengo CD catalog, courtesy of ear X-tacy [6].
Please join us for dinner before the show at Jarfi’s at the Kentucky Center [7]. Show-goers will get treated to a 10% discount between 6 and 8pm. Jarfi’s will also donate 15% of your check to WFPK.
